Kälteschock

Hallo Leute,
Bin eben heute Morgen zurück aus Washington D.C. gekommen und in Montreal ist es doch glatt 20°C kälter...-3° wars heute früh. YIKES! Scheint, als ob der Winter nicht nur bei euch eingebrochen ist. Irgendwie freu ich mich aber auf den Schnee und aufs Eis.
Ich bin grad ein bisschen im Prüfungsstress, weshalb ich die Bilder von D.C. erst in den nächsten Tagen hochladen werde. Ausserdem gibts dann auch noch einen Reisebericht. Hier schon Mal der Reiseplan vom vergangenen Weekend. Es war wirklich cool und die Leute waren super nett.

Itinerary:

Thursday
9:00 pm -- Depart McGill.

Friday
8:00 am – Arrive in DC, drop off bags in hostel, eat, etc.
9:30 am – Leave hostel.
10:30 – Appointment with the Canadian Embassy.
11:30 – Lunch (free time).
2:00 – Meet in front of the OAS.
2:15 – Appointment with the Organization of American States.
4:30 – Appointment with the World Bank.
6:00 – Free time but, for those interested, jazz and dinner in the sculpture gardens.

Saturday
Mostly a free day. For those that are interested, a tour of museums and city in general can be arranged with the execs for the first half of the day.

Sunday
7:30 am – Wake up.
8:30 am – Leave the hostel.
9:15 am – Go up the Washington Monument.
The rest of the day is free time until we leave.
8:00 pm – Depart DC.

Monday
6:00 am -- Arrive back at McGill.

Natürlich gabs zwischendurch Verspätungen und Umstrukturierungen aber das wär so mal der Grobplan gewesen.
